Turnout at the 2017 General Election was 68.8%, higher than the previous four General Elections. 

Across EU 28 countries, average turnout at the last parliamentary election 61.1%. 

UK turnout at the 2014 European Parliament election was 35.4%. This was up on the 34.5% in 2009 but below the 38.5% in 2004.
