Inflation: International: Key Economic Indicators

Inflation: International: Harmonised Index of Comsumer Prices data on international inflation rates.

UK inflation, as measured by the CPI, was 1.5% in the year to October 2019, down from 1.7% in September. UK inflation was 2.4% in October 2018.

EU inflation was 1.1% in October 2019, down from 1.2% in September. EU inflation was 2.3% in October 2018.

Inflation in the Eurozone was 0.7% in October 2019 compared with 0.8% in September. Eurozone inflation was 2.3% in October 2018.

In Germany, inflation was 0.9% in October the same as in September; in France it was also 0.9% in October, down from 1.1% in September.
