Inflation: International: Key Economic Indicators

Inflation: International: Harmonised Index of Comsumer Prices data on international inflation rates.

UK inflation, as measured by the CPI, was 2.3% in the year to November 2018, down from 2.4% in October. It was 3.1% in November 2017.

EU inflation was 2.0% in November 2018, down from 2.2% in October. EU inflation was 1.8% in November 2017.

Annual inflation in the Eurozone was 1.9% in November 2018, down from 2.2% in October and compared with 1.5% in November 2017.

In Germany inflation was 2.2% in November, down from 2.4% in October; in France it was 2.2% in November, down from 2.5% in October.

Romania had the highest inflation rate in the EU in November (3.2%). The lowest inflation rate in the EU was in Denmark (0.7%). UK inflation was the joint tenth highest in the EU in November.
