Inflation: International: Harmonised Index of Comsumer Prices data on international inflation rates.

UK inflation, as measured by the CPI, was 2.1% in the year to July 2019, up from 2.0% in June. UK inflation was 2.5% in July 2018.

EU inflation was 1.6% in June 2019, unchanged from May. EU inflation was 2.1% in June 2018.

Inflation in the Eurozone is provisionally estimated as 1.1% in July, down from 1.3% in June.

In Germany inflation was 1.5% in June, up from 1.3% in May; in France it was 1.4% in June, up from 1.1% in May.

Romania had the highest inflation rate in the EU in June (3.9%). The lowest inflation rate in the EU was in Greece (0.2%).
